Hello everyone and thanks for dropping by/following our blog. I am a stay at home busy mother of 2 wonderful kids (a boy and a girl). Being a stay home mum has a lot of challenges but no matter what, I enjoy the time bonding with my children.

I learn a lot from my kids. Their thirst and great appetite for learning has made me busy researching and making learning resources/materials for them. Generally it will be according to the topics that they have requested. Otherwise, I will randomly pick a topic and create the materials for them. Either way, the materials that I have ?crafted out for them?, usually, will include right brain training as well as they love right brain exercises.

Of course, we dont just learn from reading and writing only. We do go out and play too! We love outdoors and playdates. Come and join us on the journey of finding, discovering and revealing the fun of learning and the fun of playing!

Why I started Young Smarties?
We have been doing home practice since our little ones were young (although they are not old now). We would love to share what we learn with everyone else out there. Research on what to teach, how to teach and its preparation can be a challenge. Bet, it will even be more challenging if you are a working/busy parent! So fret not, you can always refer to our blog for ideas on home learning. We are always exploring new ways to learn.

Its not necessary you need to homeschool your kids in order to learn from us. Home practice can be done in a fun and relaxing manner. It helps to enhance and build strong and nurturing relationships between the parent and child too.
