Company History

The story of Yang Seah begins in 1973 when the founder of the company Mr Lim Yang Seah had begun his apprenticeship at a local coffee roasting plant. Despite only having a limited knowledge of coffee, it did not take him too long to fell in love with the drink. What followed was a decade long journey into the art of roasting coffee.

In 1973, confident that he has mastered the intricate skill of roasting local coffee, he left the roasting plant to setup his own company. The early years was not easy as he was not trained to be a businessman but a coffee roast master. However, with strong will and determination, coupled with the belief to roast the highest quality local style coffee, the company grew in reputation among the local coffee scene.

After decades of continuous research development, Yang Seah coffee has become an annual Coffee production of over 600 tons Singapore Coffees manufacturing company. 3 partner companies -YS Coffee And Tea Trading Pte Ltd in 1999 , Yang Seah Coffee and Tea Trading (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in 2004, and Yang Seah Coffee and Tea LLP in 2011 was established following the development of the company.

For innovation and to promote Singapores Traditional coffee as the our main objective, in addition to a small amount of retail sales of coffee products to household consumers, the company is currently focused primarily on the more challenging B To B business route, several internationally familiar and favorite Coffee powder brands, Food courts and Coffee shops had been our long-term partner for many years.
