Two decades ago, Choir Director Ms Ong Chiak Yin saw the need to share her strong passion for music with many - especially the ones who have no experience or chance of getting to know music of all forms; and simply forming a close-knit singing community with a strong love for choral music (Wild Empire Choir in 2005) is not sufficient.

Hence after years of consideration and experience, Wild Empire Choral Group Pte Ltd was established in 2010.


The Wild Empire Choral Group has since come a long way, building up 9-distinctively independent choirs under Ms Ong's music direction :

St. Joseph's Institution (Junior) Choir
Rosyth School Choir

Ms Ong detects and designs each choir's special traits and directs each to build its own characteristics and stretches its potential.
The Wild Empire Choir is formed earlier on in 2005, and has since won appreciations and 1st prize awards in both local and international scenes. Apart from holding choir concerts and performing for charity events and organizations like President's Challenge Art Exhibition and All Saints Home, the choir also ventures abroad to bring its music to foreign lands. With both experience and tenacity, the choir continues to strive towards achieving choral excellence and creating an empire of passionate singers, ready to connect and communicate the world by moving hearts with music made from within.
Wild Empire Choral Group aims to support and mentor young singers into energetic, independent and driven singers who can sing both as an individual and with a choir. This is done via various rigorous training programs, designed and carried out by its Directors, including chamber choir performances, voice classes, soloists recitals, just to name a few.
