Inspired by the entrepreneurial culture and the vibrant business style, the founder of the Monterosa Group started to travel regularly to the Indian subcontinent in the early Nineties. As one of the first foreign entities to be successfully granted a Foreign Institutional Investor Licence in 1995, when the region was opening up, our founder successfully established a Private Equity firm.

Over the years, the Monterosa Group has developed a strong advisory focus to find the best investment solutions for investing in India and other Emerging Markets. The Group gained a deep understanding of the Asian investment landscape and has grown the expertise in this area, making it one of the leading independent investors in the region. The Monterosa Group has successfully implemented investments across all major asset classes and industry sectors in diverse economic conditions. Our extensive and first-rate network of contacts with Asian business leaders allows us to identify investment opportunities at an early stage and to mitigate investment risks in a highly professional manner. More recently, the Group has evaluated and completed transactions in Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America.
