  About Us

We began in Hong Kong in 1981 as Wardley Shipping Services. Then in 2001 we became HSBC Shipping Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of HSBC Bank, one of the world's leading financial services companies. Following a management buyout in August 2012 the company was renamed Hartland Shipping Services Ltd, and Hartland were retained to provide shipping consultancy services to HSBC on a global basis. In December 2013 an office was opened in Singapore.
