History

Goh Seng Lai Company was founded by the late Mr Goh Seng Lai in 1960. Then, the main service provided by Company was limited to erection of traditional Wayang Stage, initially using attap as roof and evolving to using canvas later on.

Company Profile

1980s - Ancillary services such as erection of temporary canvas tents, installing wooden platforms, rental of tables, chairs and generators, and temporary electrical works are provided. 1990s - Value-added services including overall coordination of promotional events, special functions are provided to serve our Clients better. In some of these projects, Goh Seng Lai Company acts as the main contractor and becomes directly responsible for the works undertaken by the other sub-contractors, such as those responsible for specialized stage lighting, audio-visual effects, food & refreshment caterers, backdrop designers, etc. 1998 - The EPPU approved and registered Goh Seng Lai Company to provide exhibition and hiring services of miscellaneous items up to a contract value of $250,000.
