Kitchen Language Pte Ltd, the restaurant and franchise food arm of Far East Organization, was formed in 2008 to bring the best food concepts and brands to our local shores.

In February 2014, Kitchen Language acquired a majority stake in The Big Idea Group (TBI), boosting the latters vision for expansion and growth. The combined group now has a portfolio of 13 food and beverage concepts, 26 outlets and a staff strength of close to 600 employees.

TBI owns and operates a portfolio of restaurants, cafes and bars including Kinki Restaurant + Bar, Fat Cow, Bedrock Bar & Grill, The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill, Oriole Coffee + Bar, Oriole Coffee Roasters, The Marmalade Pantry in the City, The Marmalade Pantry at Novena, BWB and manages several prominent US brands under Kitchen Languages franchise portfolio namely Dean & DeLuca, Cold Stone Creamery and Quiznos Sub.

In addition, it oversees the operations of three hotel restaurants - Saltwater Café at Village Hotel Changi, Straits Café at Rendezvous Hotel Singapore and Katong Kitchen at Village Hotel Katong.
