Blue House Nursery & International Preschool is more than a school, it is an environment and a community of inclusive learning. As part of a greater ?Blue House Village the opportunities for children to connect with the world, with each other, with caregivers, with parents and with their community has never been stronger.

In 2008, school Founders Ben and Shona Sanosi were driven to identify a schooling solution for their almost 2 year old twins that encompassed their belief of what early years education should look like. Shona, having over 20 years experience in the early years industry internationally, was compelled to use her knowledge and experience, coupled with the inspiration brought about by the acclaimed Reggio Emilia approach, to create a new type of preschool.

Blue House Nursery & International Preschool was born, from humble beginnings as 2 classrooms in a shop front in River Valley. In 2010, with every single family happy to follow the journey, a larger plot at Turf City, Bukit Timah was developed and 2 classrooms became 4.

Today, through the schools organic growth and success, 4 classrooms is now 10, and the educators, children and families hail from many corners of the globe. The school has remained steadfast to the warmth and generosity of spirit that comes from a family owned business, but has surrounded itself with the best and most experienced professionals the industry has to offer, to become a professional yet creative and inspired environment.

Blue House Nursery & International Preschool offers a range of programmes for children from 6 months to 6 years old. The program moves from sensory, interactive, open-ended and imaginative play for children 6 months to 3 years old across two Infant & Toddler Atelier locations, through to a Nursery programme in its own building, recently renovated and refurbished in September 2015 for children 18 months to 3 years old, then on to our Junior and Senior Kindergarten programmes in the Big Blue House for children 3 6 years old. This is all supported by an enrichment program of music, dance, drama, science and art, run by specialist collaborators, educators and experts in their field.

Blue House is not a school in isolation, it is part of the Blue House Village, with a range of relevant partners within the immediate community that continue to enrich the learning experiences on offer to Blue House children and families.

Blue House is completely unique in Singapore and is known as far as UK/Europe and the US as being an example of best practice in the region.
