Founded in 2014, Balm Kitchen is a botanical-based skincare and body care line in Singapore. We combine gentle yet effective botanical ingredients with formulation science techniques. We create Nourishing Skin Food for you and your family.

Our Philosophy

Balm Kitchen believes in delivering gentle, safe and effective products at affordable prices. We adhere to strict industry standards, handcrafting all products in small batches.

Safe practices
To ensure safe, high quality products, we practice good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and strictly abide by the guidelines of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive. All products undergo rigorous testing for safety and effectiveness.
Vegan and cruelty-free
We source worldwide for the best-quality, plant-based ingredients for our products. Where possible, we use certified organic ingredients from Europe, USA, or Australia. As a vegan brand, our ingredients and finished products are never tested on animals. We also do not use animal derivatives such as honey, beeswax and carmine.

Botanical based
Artificial flavours or synthetic fragrances are never used in our formulas. Instead, we extract the natural flavours of raw and natural ingredients by incorporating them in nourishing oils. Coffee beans, tea leaves, and vanilla beans, for example, are commonly used in our formulas for their beneficial antioxidants, catechins, and vitamins. Essential oils are used extensively in our products for their aromatic and therapeutic benefits.

Handcrafted in small batches
We handmade all products in small batches in our studio, formulating each one from scratch before hand blending, pouring, and packaging. Small batch production allows us to ensure that the products you receive are as fresh as possible.
