Backstage Hair Salon opened its doors in November 1991 at Forum the Shopping
MaIl and quickly developed a reputation for providing top-nofth hair service at the
head of the chic Orchard Road belL
To offer a corn pleI.e suite of hair and beauty services for both men and women, the
salon moved to a 4,000-sq-ft space in Orchard Hotel Shopping
Arcade in 2005 and was renamed IN@Backstage.
The salons interiors were designed by director Judy Kob, who fused Eastern and
Western influences to create a sleek and inviting space full of depth, sensuality and
lighl Artful curves lead the dient from one enclave to another, with private rooms for
more discreet treatments.
